Se libérer du Trauma Complexe

• by Naya Healing

Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD) doesn’t stem from a single traumatic event, but develops slowly and insidiously through repeated or prolonged wounds over time. Often in childhood. Sometimes in toxic relationships that drag on. Or in situations where you felt trapped, with no apparent way out.
Today, you carry these invisible scars. And they show up in your daily life.
C-PTSD can look like:
🔸 Emotional flashbacks: reliving intense emotions from the past as if they were happening right now.
🔸 Dissociation or involuntary mental disconnections: feeling like you’re not really there anymore.
🔸 A permanent feeling of unsafety, even in objectively safe situations.
🔸 Constant hypervigilance: you constantly scan your environment, always on high alert.
🔸 A profound difficulty trusting others, even those who have proven their kindness.
🔸 An excessive need to please and avoid conflict at all costs.
🔸 Over-apologizing, even when you’ve done nothing wrong.
🔸 Exhausting perfectionism that pushes you to never feel good enough. Imposter syndrome: that voice telling you that you don’t deserve your place.
🔸 Intense, toxic shame, deeply rooted within you.
🔸 Difficulty identifying your own needs, desires, and boundaries. A compulsive need to stay busy because emptiness scares you.
🔸 An inability to rest or truly disconnect without feeling guilty.
🔸 Emotional dysregulation: sudden anger, uncontrollable tears, or conversely, emotional numbness.
🔸 Systematic avoidance of certain people, places, or situations that awaken painful memories.
🔸 Nightmares or disturbed, non-restorative sleep.
🔸 Chronic pain with no clear medical cause: your body holds the memory of the trauma.
🧠 What happens in your brain: Your amygdala (the one in your brain, not your throat!), this alarm center that detects danger, is in permanent overdrive. It sounds the alert even when there is no real threat. Your hippocampus (the one in your brain, not the sea creature!), responsible for memory and contextualization, is disrupted. Past memories invade the present. Your prefrontal cortex, which manages decision-making and emotional regulation, is weakened by chronic stress.
Result? Your entire nervous system lives in permanent survival mode. You are in a constant state of alert, exhausted, but unable to truly relax.
How I can help you with MOSAIC therapy:
I am not just going to treat your symptoms or teach you to “better manage” your stress. MOSAIC therapy goes much further. Together, we will seek the root causes of your blocks, where the trauma has nestled, often long before you had the words to name it.
Here is what I offer:
✓ Deep repair: We work on traumatic patterns at their source, not just their current manifestations.
✓ Nervous system rebalancing: We help your body and brain exit survival mode to regain a state of safety.
✓ Concrete and practical tools: Between sessions, I give you specific exercises to practice to anchor changes in your daily life.

✓ Total respect for YOUR pace: No pressure, no therapy that drags on unnecessarily. My goal is to free you, not keep you for years (even if you are super nice and I love our conversations!).

One essential thing to know: You are not “broken.” You are not “too sensitive” or “difficult.”
Your brain and body did what they had to do to survive what you experienced. They adapted the best they could. These symptoms are not weaknesses: they are protective mechanisms that were necessary.
The good news? What adapted to survive can relearn how to live. Your nervous system can find safety again.
The good news is that you can heal.
If you recognize yourself in these lines, know that: You are not alone.
It is not your fault.
Healing is possible.
And I am here to support you on this journey, with kindness, expertise, and respect for your pace.
