“It’s just stress. Get some rest.”

• by Naya Healing

That’s what her doctor kept repeating for months.
Crushing fatigue. Endometriosis. Brain fog. Hair loss. Muscle and joint pain. Hypersensitivity to noise and smells. Bleeding that would never stop.
Every single appointment with her doctor, the same answer.
No investigation. No blood work. No curiosity.

Just a closed door and a prescription to “manage the anxiety.”

She saw a psychotherapist, who recommended supplements without any micronutrition knowledge, and without any understanding of her specific biological terrain. She came to me exhausted, resigned, convinced it was “all in her head.”
I listened. Truly listened. Not 7 minutes between two clients. I took the time to connect every symptom, every detail, every silence her body was screaming.
And I ordered a full panel. A complete one. A micronutrition panel. Not the 30-second checkbox kind. The kind that looks where nobody else looks. Not even your GP.
The result is in this photo.
Vitamin A: < 0.42 µmol/L. Normal range: 1.46 – 2.84.
You read that right. Less than a third of the minimum. The lab itself wrote: “Severe deficiency. Follow-up and supplementation recommended.”
But it didn’t stop there. Vitamin E: 3.9 µmol/L (normal: 19-39). At 20% of the minimum. Zinc at the low end. Copper at the ceiling. Ferritin in freefall: 63 → 45 in just 3 weeks. Fatty acid profile: elevated inflammatory ratio, directly linked to her endometriosis pain.
It was NOT stress.
It was a body screaming that it had run out of building materials. A silent inflammatory terrain. Mucous membranes breaking down from vitamin A deficiency, worsened by supplements recommended blindly by the psychotherapist. Cell membranes on fire from omega-3 deficiency. Iron reserves draining from bleeding that everyone chose to ignore.
And the solution?
Not a €500/month treatment. Not an experimental therapy. Not years of wandering. Cod liver oil. Chicken liver once a week. Sardines for breakfast. Zinc. Cruciferous vegetables. A protein-rich breakfast. A few euros. A few weeks. Simple bricks for a body that was just waiting for them.
Today, she eats breakfast every morning.
She’s lost excess weight. She feels better. Her energy is coming back. Her brain fog is lifting. Her hair is growing back.
And if she hadn’t insisted? If she had accepted “it’s just stress”?
Her eyes would have kept deteriorating. Her mucous membranes kept breaking down. Her endometriosis kept flaring. Her inflammation kept settling in. And someone would have told her again: “Just rest.”
Your fatigue is not in your head. Your symptoms are not a life sentence.
“It’s stress” is not a diagnosis. It’s an admission of giving up.
I specialize in micronutrition and functional approaches.
My job is to look where nobody else looks. To connect the dots. To find the cause, not just mask the symptom. And to advise accordingly.
